Brain Structure and Function is an active peer-reviewed scientific journal of neurosciences covering research on brain structure-function relationships. It was established in 1891 as Anatomische Hefte, and is published bimonthly by Springer.
The journal publishes research that provides insight into brain structure−function relationships. Studies integrate data spanning from molecular, cellular, developmental, and systems architecture to the neuroanatomy of behaviour and cognitive functions, but the journal does not publish purely clinical or neuropathological papers except in cases where the work actually contributes to the understanding of normal brain structure and function.
Issues feature full-length papers, short communications (maximum five printed pages including figures and references), reviews and letters to the editors.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1980 and 1983.
